Delete your Vandera account

Vandera is operated by Vandera.app Ltd. This page explains how to delete your Vandera account and what happens to your data.

HEADING: How to delete your account in the app

1. Open the Vandera app and sign in.

2. Go to My Profile, then Settings.

3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm.

If you can't open the app

Email hello@vandera.app from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your account within one month.

What is deleted

- Your login details (email address and password), so you can no longer sign in.

- Your private data: saved trips, favourites and check-ins.

- Your profile details, such as your name and username, are anonymised so they are no longer linked to you. [CONFIRM which fields and whether profile photo is removed.]

What is kept

- Content you contributed to the community, such as park-up locations [and photos - CONFIRM] and reviews, stays live but is no longer linked to you, so other users can keep relying on it.

- Information we are required or permitted to keep for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons, [for as long as the law requires - CONFIRM any specific period].
